Job Title: Hardware EngineerPay Rate: $49.32 hrLocation: Irvine, CAArea Code: 949, 714ZIP Code: 92618Start Date: Right AwayKeywords: #ElectronicEngineer #HardwareEngineerJobs #AerospaceJobsBenefits: * Medical Health Benefits with multiple plan options, Flexible Spending Accounts, Dental and Vision * 401k* On the job training cross-training * Life Insurance, disability insurance, and voluntary life insurance for family members available. * Accident and critical illness insurance optional. * Scheduled performance reviews* Referral programResponsibilities:* Work independently and with interdepartmental teams. * Assist in the design and development of electronic systems. * Write or assist in the development of test plans and test procedures. * Assist in the automation of relevant test procedures andor design and development of test fixtures. * Assist in lab and field tests of electronic systems.* Read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. * Write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. * Present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public. * Apply advanced mathematical concepts * Define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusion* Work effectively with co-workers, customers and others by sharing ideas in a constructive and positive manner; listening to and objectively considering ideas and suggestions from othersEducation and Experience:* B.S.E.E. degree from and accredited university or equivalent* Masters in Electrical Engineering related field or an MBA is considered a plus. * 3+ years of electronic circuits and systems design, integration and testing experience. * Experience with the use of test equipment, such as oscilloscope, spectrum analyzer, network analyzer, DMMs, and signal generators.* Experience and training in the MilitaryAerospace Industry is desirable. * Professional andor technical certifications from accredited educational and vocational institutions desired.* PCB layout experience desired.Skills and Knowledge:* Must be a U.S Citizen* Familiarity with AS9100 is desirable* Knowledge of RF systems or motor drives and controls is desirable. * Knowledge of project engineering methods and troubleshooting techniques for electronic circuitry. * Knowledge of test report and procedure generation. * Familiar with one or more of the following: OrCAD, MATLAB, LabView, andor VHDL.* Strong oralwritten communication skills. * Excellent organizational skills. * Advanced troubleshooting skills required* Must have training with one or more of the following:- Digital Signal Processing (DSP)- RF Circuit Design-Analog Circuit Design-Digital Electronics Design- FPGA Design-Algorithm Development (Pattern Recognition and Object Tracking)- LabView Automated Test Stand Design* Ability to communicate in English* Team player* Ability to lift up to 20lbs
