VRG Packaging Technician I

Athens, GA 4 month extendable contractMax Pay Rate: $20hrShift 1st - Hours 6:00 am-4:30 pm M-THJob Responsibilities: Perform duties associated with packaging and filling VRG to meet quality guidelines.Work well in a team environment; anticipate and help team members. Meet or exceed daily production goalsBasic math and computer skills required Read, understand and perform SOPS.Operate alone or in a team environment in a productive manner. Ability to sit or stand for a minimum of 2 hours at a time. Participate in line setup, production, line clearance and troubleshooting.Skills: Ensure compliance with cGMP, APHIS, OSHA, EPA, regulations pertaining to production process.1+ years of manufacturing experience requiredPackaging and filling experience requiredDemonstrate desire to work productively, troubleshoot machinery and provide quality product to the customer.Ability to follow detailed instructions, alone or in a group.Ability to respond to diverse physical demand of departmental assignments.Math skillsAbility to troubleshoot minor mechanical problemsComputer skillsEducation: Minimum High School graduate or equivalent
