Senior Mechanical Engineer

The Senior Mechanical Engineer will lead the design, development, and execution of mechanical systems and components. This role requires technical expertise, leadership skills, and collaboration across teams.Key Responsibilities:Oversee mechanical system designs using CAD software, conduct feasibility studies, and validate designs through simulations and testing. Ensure high-quality engineering documentation.Manage projects from concept to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards. Develop plans, allocate resources, and track progress.Mentor junior engineers, troubleshoot complex issues, and provide expert technical guidance.Work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, manufacturing, and product management, to ensure seamless system integration.Maintain detailed technical documents and ensure adherence to industry regulations, safety standards, and company policies.Stay updated on industry trends, identify process enhancements, and establish performance metrics for internal and external clients.Qualifications:Bachelor's or Master's in Mechanical Engineering or related field.12+ years in mechanical engineering, with project and team leadership experience.Proficiency in CAD software modeling and drafting (e.g., AutoCAD, Fusion 360, SolidWorks, Creo, Onshape, CATIA, DVX, NEST).Strong problem-solving abilities and effective communication.Professional Engineer (PE) license preferredFamiliarity with structural engineering concepts is a plus.
