Strong preference for Bay Area candidates.Century | Urban is expanding its real estate advisory and asset management platform and is seeking a Financial Analyst to play an integral role as a member of our growing team with responsibility for financial analytics including pro-forma modeling, asset management support of a Bay Area real estate portfolio, economic analysis, and market research. This role will require a "utility player" located in the Bay Area that working on high profile real estate advisory engagements and asset management of leading commercial properties throughout the Bay Area.The Financial Analyst role represents an exciting opportunity to work as part of a team and advance one's real estate skills by working on some of the largest and most notable transactions in the Bay Area, in addition to contributing to a successful boutique real estate advisory and asset management firm. The firm prides itself on a collaborative and collegial working environment assisting San Francisco based for-profit companies, public agencies and non-profits. The Financial Analyst position will require being onsite a minimum of three days per week. This is a full-time position reporting to the Managing Principals of the firm with potential to grow into an Associate Vice President role.Advisory Position Responsibilities:Prepare economic and underwriting analysis in Microsoft Excel to evaluate development projects, existing assets, portfolio level valuation and feasibility (all product types) on Bay Area advisory engagements.Assist in underwriting and performing due diligence on multifamily apartments, office, industrial and hotel projects in the Bay Area.Perform market research including rental comparables, sales comps, economic and demographic trends, and asset specific due diligence with written teract with client executives and work directly with the Managing Principals to execute advisory assignments.Attend client meetings, prepare client materials and present findings to clients.Asset Management Position Responsibilities:Perform asset management responsibilities on an institutional quality commercial portfolio.Guide and manage leasing efforts of third-party brokers on both stabilized and value-add assets including office and industrial.Work with third-party property managers to implement acquisition business plans and asset strategies.Analyze and monitor renovation programs and coordinate with lenders and capital partners on progress conjunction with annual budgeting process, update cash flow models to reflect leasing and operating activities.Position Requirements:2-5 years of related work experience in financial analysis, asset management, consulting, brokerage, appraisal or accounting.Strong organizational skills with ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a timely manner.Highly analytical and detail oriented with strong communication skills.Self-starter willing to challenge themselves in an entrepreneurial environment.Bachelor's degree required with business, real estate or finance concentration.Strong knowledge of Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
