Senior Civil Land Development EngineerAbout the RoleWe are seeking an experienced Senior Civil Land Development Engineer to join our team and take a leadership role in managing and delivering large-scale private development projects. This position offers the opportunity to lead a team, oversee complex civil design projects, and contribute to business development initiatives.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and mentor a team of engineers and planners, ensuring high-quality project execution.Oversee all phases of land development projects, from site planning to final design and construction.Manage project scope, schedules, and budgets while coordinating with internal teams and external stakeholders.Prepare and review technical reports, feasibility studies, and engineering plans.Develop proposals, including scope definition, scheduling, and fee structuring.Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations throughout project execution.Maintain and build client relationships, identifying new business opportunities.Provide technical oversight and quality assurance for all civil design work.Conduct site visits, assess project conditions, and address design challenges as needed.What You Bring5-8+ years of experience in civil land development engineering.Strong leadership skills with experience in managing and growing a design team.Professional Engineer (PE) License or Landscape Architecture License in Pennsylvania (required).Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Landscape Architecture, or a related field (Master's preferred).Expertise in site development, grading, drainage, stormwater management, and utility design.Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D (preferred).Excellent communication, proposal writing, and project management skills.Ability to deliver projects on time and within budget while ensuring high-quality outcomes.Strong business development acumen and existing client relationships (preferred).Why Join Us?Opportunity to lead high-impact projects shaping urban and suburban landscapes.Collaborative team environment with strong support for professional petitive salary and comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, 401(k), and paid time off.A culture that values innovation, teamwork, and client success.If you're looking for the next step in your career where you can lead, inspire, and make a lasting impact, we'd love to hear from you!
