Job Title: QA Test Automation EngineerJob Location: Boston, MA 02110Onsite Requirements:Experience with ETL and API framework buildouts-must be able to build a framework from scratch.Develop a roadmap and timeline for establishing a test automation framework.Development role with a focus on backend automation Job Description:Responsibilities:Participate in various test practices including but not limited to test incident and defect management, manual testing, and test automation.Create and maintain tests within the squad that align with organization level and domain level test specifications.Contribute to internal guidelines, standards, and policies related to the development and test process.Collaboration with internal stakeholders to understand, design, and implement tests on test objects within the scope of the squad.Establish a working knowledge of technical and business domain within the scope of the squad.Support the release process. Skills You Bring:Technical:Must have experience utilizing various test design techniques that contribute to testing data quality.Knowledge of Python's testing framework, familiarity in several test frameworks, ideally pytest (intermediate level or above) to automate and execute tests for ETL, CICD pipelines, and scheduling tasks.Use of version control to track changes to software test code.Knowledge of PostgreSQL.Develop scripts to automate test execution.Knowledge of Agile methodologies, such as Scrum.Windows proficiency.** 3rd party and subcontract staffing agencies are not eligible for partnership on this position. 3rd party subcontractors need not apply.
