Chemical Engineer

Minimum B.S. in Physical Sciences or Engineering (Chemistry, Physics, or Chemical Engineering)* 5 - 10 years of experience in the combustion engine emissions field* Understanding of TWC function, failure modes, and sensitivity to inputs and noise factors* Experience with chassis or engine dynamometer facilities (VERL or APTL) and an understanding of their operations with respect to vehicle drive cycles, emission reports, and data collection using ATI VisionETAS* Sound technical knowledge of regulated emission requirements* Excellent written and oral communication skills are required Even better, you may have_* Familiarity with programming software including LabVIEW and Matlab* Familiarity with emission measurement techniques including FID, FTIR, mass spectrometry, and x-ray analysis * 5+ years demonstrating ability to analyze, plan, and solve sophisticated system problems as they relate to engines and emissions.
