We are family family-owned dealership in business and our employees are long-term. Our lot techs have been here 10 years or more.As an Auto Mechanic, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining various types of vehicles. This is a hands-on role that requires strong technical skills and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service.Responsibilities:- Perform automotive diagnostics and identify mechanical issues- Repair and replace vehicle components, such as brakes, suspension systems, and exhaust systems- Transmission work is needed and preferred- Perform powertrain repairs and adjustments- Utilize automotive service manuals and schematics to guide repairs- Conduct vehicle inspections and provide accurate estimates for repair costs- Maintain a clean and organized work area- Hours are 8:00 am-5 pm M-F.Requirements:- Proven experience as an Automotive Technician or similar role- Strong knowledge of automotive diagnostics and repair techniques- Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information effectively- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines- Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills- Must have a valid driver's licenseEducation andor ExperienceTwo to four years of related experience andor training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience
