You must be comfortable handling top-level responsibilities, managing multiple partners, and ensuring that the legal team stays on track. This role requires a mix of legal expertise, strategic thinking, and the ability to keep things running smoothly in a high-energy environment.Key Responsibilities:Provide direct support to the owner, managing case assignments and prioritizing workload.Oversee and coordinate legal operations, ensuring efficiency and organization across the firm.Draft, review, and finalize legal documents, including pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and settlement agreements.Gather and analyze evidence, medical records, and case files to support attorneys in trial preparation.Manage client communications, keeping them informed and engaged throughout the legal process.Arrange depositions, court filings, and witness interviews while maintaining airtight schedules.Track court deadlines, ensuring compliance with filing requirements and procedural rules.Act as a liaison between attorneys, clients, medical professionals, and experts.Maintain and organize case files, ensuring all necessary documentation is readily accessible.Anticipate the needs of the firm's owner and attorneys to keep everything moving seamlessly.Assist with discovery and responding to discovery requests.Review documents and conduct legal research.Draft legal documents including subpoenas, complaints, summons, etc.Assist with assembling trial binders, exhibits, and appendices for court filings, depositions, and mediations.Calendar upcoming court hearings and other deadlines.Draft, revise, and finalize letters, briefs, and memos.Collaborate with the supervising attorney and provide general administrative support.What We're Looking For:Experience: Minimum 2-5 years as a paralegal in personal injury law, with proven experience managing senior attorneys or firm partners. 2+ years' of litigation experience.Certification: ABA Paralegal Certificate required. Must have knowledge of Federal and State filing and service procedures and court guidelines.Litigation Paralegals must display excellent verbal and written communication skills, time management and strong attention to detail.Skills: Strong legal research, writing, and organizational skills. Ability to multitask and meet deadlines with precision.Personality: Confident, proactive, and resourceful.
