Motis Brands is seeking a Sr. Financial Analyst to join our team and play a crucial role in financial planning, forecasting, and analysis. Reporting directly to the CFO, this position will collaborate with senior management, commercial teams, operational team, and the account group to provide data-driven insights that support strategic decision-making.We are a young, fast-paced and high-growth potential organization. Financial Modeling including budgeting, reporting and what-if scenarios. Must have a strong 3 statement modeling background- including financial analysis & monthly reporting, consolidating and analysis of financial results and data to assess a company's financial health. Including variances to budget, forecast and actuals reconciliations, period-to-period variance analysis, analyzing cost deviation with variance explanations; Forecasting & Budgeting - based on past operating experience. Leads re-forecasting process.Take a "hands on" approach to all financial and operational issues in close collaboration with other executives, while also thinking broadly about the company's overall direction and objectivesManagement and modeling of Working Capital, Cash Forecasting. Maintenance of 13 week Cash Flow statement. Lead annual budgeting activitiesInventory and gross margin reportingCoordinate with all levels of management to gather, analyze, summarize, and prepare recommendations regarding financial plans, trended future requirements, and operating forecasts.Assist operating team with alignment and decision making as pertains to financial implications; present data in cohesive reports that provide clear communicationThe Senior Financial Analyst will conduct special studies to analyze complex financial actions and prepare recommendations for policy, procedure, control, or action.Preparation of studies, reports, analyses, and recommendations in areas such as budgets, forecasts, financial plans, governmental requirements, statistical reports, and business forecastsAnalyze financial information to determine present and future financial performance.Evaluate complex profit plans, operating records, and financial statements.Assist with other duties and special projects as needed.An individual in this position must be self-starter, inquisitive and work independently as well as collaboratively with other departments.
