Individuals must be legally authorized to work in the US at the start of employment.Our Senior Engineer (Traffic) assists in the supervision of staff, and the delivery of essential work products for the District 7 Traffic Office. The position provides engineering expertise to internal and external clients along with the delivery of engineering plans and documentation to ensure compliance with MnDOT standards and policies. Additional responsibilities include:Represents the District Traffic Office as a team member on assigned highway improvement projects, from concept through construction phases, so that temporary traffic controls, pavement markings, signs, traffic signals, lighting systems, and intelligent transportation systems are correctly designed and deployed.Leads the analysis, design and operation of the District's traffic signal systems, roadway lighting systems and Intelligent Transportation Systems. Including, but not limited to the completion of traffic signal warrant analyses; signal timing; and signal coordination plans.WHAT'S IN IT FOR YOU?
