Position overview The Technology Technician ensures a seamless process of technical sales, scanning, modeling, educating and customer service for PRS. The primary function and focus of the Technology Technician position is to manage and seek job opportunities, selling products or services to consumers, maintaining road quality and maintenance, and ensure safe infrastructure improvements. Primary Responsibilities Provide onsite technical support to ensure smooth operations.Perform equipment installations, daily setups, and data municate results effectively to operators and stakeholders.Manage and maintain equipment to ensure reliability and efficiency.Collaborate with contractors and agencies to review models, address design flaws, and facilitate acceptance.Process data and prepare models for project use.Conduct detailed data analysis to support project objectives.Utilize and work proficiently with Trimble and Topcon systems.Drive advancements in technical sales by engaging and educating consumers.Train users on equipment, perform scans, and create accurate models.Perform additional tasks as assigned to support team goals. Qualifications Strong mechanical skills to address unexpected issues.Experience with Trimble andor Topcon machine guidance systems, total stations, and GPS rovers.Ability to follow all safety protocols, including wearing required personal protective equipment.Team-oriented mindset with a focus on collaboration and building a positive work environment.Strong communication skills to interact professionally with clients, colleagues, and stakeholders.Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and analyze data.Demonstrates integrity, professionalism, and the ability to manage stress effectively.Capable of solving problems using practical judgment and following written or verbal instructions.Ability to read and interpret technical materials, reports, and regulations, and prepare professional documents.Proficient in basic math, including percentages, ratios, and graph interpretation.Familiarity with operating vehicles, heavy equipment, and power tools for mechanical tasks.Proficient with computer programs such as PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and Outlook.Willingness to work overtime as needed.
