FSQA Specialist

FSQA SpecialistObjective:To develop, maintain, and enhance quality assurance programs, ensuring the facility remains compliant and audit-ready.Key Responsibilities:Develop and manage supplier approval processes, Review and upload supplier documentation, Collaborate with Procurement for documentation requests.Handle Certificates of Analysis (COAs), Verify inspection data and conduct supplier audits, Manage non-conformance reports and corrective actions.Assign risk ratings to complaints, investigate complaints and provide corrective actions.Review data to identify trends and develop improvement plans.Conduct internal and quality systems audits, Assist in audit preparation and execution, Participate in customer audits.Support the quality management system by creating and modifying submission forms.Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs).Continuously improve the quality management system and data collection.Assist in updating HACCP plans, Support HACCP validations, verify records and conduct foreign material investigations.Provide necessary training, Support production floor and in-house lab activities.Schedule and update environmental monitoring sites.Preferred Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in food science, Biology, Chemistry, or a related discipline.3+ years of relevant experience in the 𝐟𝐨𝐨𝐝 𝐢𝐧𝐝𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐲, ideally in cooked or ready-to-eat operations.Understanding of GMPs, SPC, HACCP, OSHA, USDA regulations, and food microbiology.Certification in HACCP or PCQI, and SPC.Experience working with SQF.Familiarity with systems like TraceGains, SafetyChain, and Repositrak.
