The Civil Engineer will be responsible for tasks related to Civil Engineering Design, Planning, Stormwater Management, and overall Civil Engineering responsibilities.QualificationsCivil Engineering Design and Civil Engineers skillsExperience in Planning and Stormwater ManagementStrong background in Civil EngineeringExcellent problem-solving and analytical skillsAbility to work collaboratively in a teamProficiency in relevant Civil Engineering softwareBachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related fieldCivil Engineering, Licensed EI (North Carolina required, licensure in other states not required, but will be considered)PE License (not required, but will be considered)Intermediate understanding of civil design and plan preparation including Civil3d, Utility modeling and design, stormwater design, grading & drainage design, and erosion controlSome understanding of Due Diligence and EntitlementJob Scope will includeResidential and Commercial Land DevelopmentEngineering design, calculations, and reports.Due diligence and site feasibility analysisAssistance with re-zoning & master site plan administration including assistance with neighborhood meetings and public hearingsInitial Scope: Site plan and Construction Document preparation & approvalsShort Term Growth Scope: Exposure to clients and municipal staff; Project Management TrainingMedium to Long Term Growth Scope: Project and Client ManagementClient and municipal interactionBusiness development not required but will be rewarded with performance bonus
