The extensive line of services can be used in any situation there's a need "” from a one-day job to a multimillion-dollar project.The Shop & Field Mechanic Lead PositionThe Shop & Field Mechanic Lead oversees equipment maintenance, repairs, and mechanic teams while ensuring seamless communication with project managers, superintendents, field personnel, and others. This role requires a combination of hands-on technical expertise and leadership skills to be successful.Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Leading safety procedures and initiatives for equipmentDevelop, implement and maintain a preventative maintenance programManage field and shop mechanicsOversee purchasing stock partsCommunicate with project managers and superintendents regarding equipment issues, concerns or needsConduct full-scope equipment repairsThe role is required to visit jobsites a minimum of one day every other week, as well as attend at least one leadership or professional growth seminar per year.Desired Experience, Skills, and Abilities for the Shop & Field Mechanic Lead Position5+ years of experience in equipment maintenance, fleet management, or a similar roleStrong leadership and organizational skillsHands-on mechanical expertise with heavy equipmentFamiliarity with safety regulations and preventative maintenance best practicesAbility to manage teams and communicate effectivelyCompensation, Benefits, and Structure for the Shop & Field Mechanic Lead PositionThis is a permanent, full-time position with a competitive salary based on skills and experience.
