Maintenance Technician - Manufacturing

SummaryPerforms troubleshooting and repair on electricalelectronic, hydraulic, pneumatic mechanical systems. Analyzes, troubleshoots, and repairs equipment. Assist with the servicing and repairing of more complex equipment. Complies with applicable regulations and the department's Safety program.Essential FunctionsSolving mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues on production.Reading, analyzing, and interpreting technical procedures, blueprints, service manuals, and work orders to perform required maintenance work.Conducts preventive maintenance schedule.Dealing with incoming work municating existing and potential issues with your group leaders andor maintenance manager.Abiding by different safety measures and policies.QualificationsEducationMinimum High School diploma or GED and mechanical apprenticeship andor vocational schooltechnology certificate in mechanic.ExperienceFive (5) years of mechanical technical hands-on experience.Ability to read blueprints and hydraulic pneumatic schematics.Ability to use appropriate hand, power and specialty tools and diagnostic equipment to complete job tasks.Ability to read, use and understand gauges, tools and instruments relating to product quality and equipment repair.Ability to work independently.Must have sound knowledge and experience in Industrial Maintenance environment with repair and troubleshooting machine issues and breakdowns along with general maintenance.Must have a good working knowledge of mechanics and troubleshooting mechanical issues.Must have experience in welding with MIG andor arc welder.Must have a good working knowledge in hydraulic, pneumatic, pumps, valves, cylinders, conveyors, etc.Forklifts and scissor lift driving experience is preferred but not necessary.Lathe operation experience is preferred but not necessary.Must have organization and housekeeping skills.Must have good communication skills throughout all levels of the organization.Willingness to work on 1st, 2nd, or 3rd shift, overtime and weekends as required.Additional InformationReasonable Accommodation StatementTo perform this job successfully, the individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
