Paralegal / Legal Assistant

We are looking for a dedicated, detail-oriented, and highly motivated individual to join our legal team as a Paralegal Legal Assistant. This full-time, in-office position offers a strong career growth opportunity within the legal field and includes excellent benefits after 90 this role, you will work closely with attorneys and fellow paralegals, providing essential legal and administrative support to ensure the smooth handling of cases.Key Responsibilities:Case Preparation & ManagementOrder medical records and other crucial evidence to support legal proceedings.Draft correspondence, legal reports, medical chronologies, and other legal documents.Summarize depositions, interrogatories, and testimony to streamline casework.Data & Document ManagementInput, retrieve, update, and scan case information into the firm's database.Client & New Business SupportAssist the new business team with client intake, including taking new client calls and drafting contracts.Additional ResponsibilitiesPerform other related tasks as assigned to support the legal team.Qualifications & Requirements:Education: Associate's Degree required; Bachelor's Degree preferred.Experience: Previous legal experience is required. Background in plaintiff's personal injury or medical malpractice law is highly preferred.Technical Skills:Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and other legal fortable using technology for case management and research.Key Competencies:Strong writing and analytical skills with exceptional attention to detail.Excellent organizational abilities and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.Self-motivated, proactive, and eager to learn and grow in the legal field.Professional demeanor with a team-oriented mindset and the ability to collaborate effectively.Tech-savvy and comfortable navigating legal software and mitment to providing high-quality support to attorneys and clients.Coachable with a positive attitude and a willingness to assist wherever needed.This role is perfect for someone who is looking to expand their legal career in a dynamic and supportive work environment.
