Inside SalesWHAT YOU'LL BE DOINGThe Inside Sales Representative develops new business and maintains existing business within an assigned territory, working closely with outside sales, the local Operations teams, the Inside Sales Manager, and Regional Sales Director to achieve profitable growth within the assigned territory. The Inside Sales Representative plays a fundamental role in achieving our customer acquisition and revenue growth objectives advancing the sales process while providing exceptional customer service.The Inside Sales Representative is accountable for achieving or exceeding assigned KPIs including financial and customer satisfaction measures. In this role, the ambition to fulfil our "Happy Customer" value must guide all customer communications and activities.ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:Achieve or exceed territory performance goals through a combination of lead generation for new business and qualification of new trade lanes or products with current customers; complete a minimum of 25 outbound calls per day to ensure appropriate coverage.Qualify new business opportunities to ensure alignment of commercial objectives, financial objectives and customer needs; communicate sizeable business opportunities into the CRM as well as to the outside sales executiveInside Sales ManagerRegional Sales Director for follow-up; provide market intelligence to the local Operations teamsInside Sales ManagerRegional Sales plete customer quotation requests; follow up systematically to secure bookings or resolve any outstanding issues necessary to advance the sales process; communicate with outside salesInside Sales ManagerRegional Sales Director, andor local Operations teams as appropriate to ensure customer requirements are met.Ensure a smooth sales process by communicating and seeking guidance and approval from the Inside Sales ManagerRegional Sales Director on rates when plete export, import bookings, andor CCP's on business you have secured directly with guidance from local operations teams as needed.Expedite the resolution of customer questions, problems or complaints to ensure satisfaction.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:BABS degree or equivalent gained through relevant experience; logistics industry preferredMinimum 2 years' inside sales experience; demonstrated ability to achieve quotaProven ability to create mutually beneficial customer relationshipsStrong phone presence; excellent listening, verbal and written communication skills (English)Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectivelyStrong MS Office skills, including Excel, Word, PowerPointWE ARE VANGUARDWe are an industry stalwart and a true innovator.
