Network Engineer

Location: On-Site, Irving, TXRequired Skills & Experience• 5+ years of network administration experience.• CCNP JNCIP JNCIS or relevant experience.• Advanced experience with Firewall, Routing, Switching technologies (eg. Aruba 2800 and 10000 series and Juniper SRX and EX series products).• Experience with Palo Alto firewalls.• Advanced experience with SDWAN technologies (VeloCloud, Cisco Catalyst, Cato SASE Cloud, FortiGate, Versa SASE, Oracle, etc.)- Hands on experience with Configuration, creating policies, traffic shaping• Advanced knowledge of POTS, DS1T1, Fiber, GigE and 10GigE, VoIP, SIP• Advanced experience in various Network CLI languages such as Aruba, Cisco, or Juniper• Advanced knowledge of OSI Model, IP addressing, subnetting, VLAN, routing• Advanced knowledge of 802.11x, 802.1x, RF design• Advanced experience with routers, layer 2 and layer 3 switches• Advanced experience with Spanning Tree, VRRP, BGP, OSPF, iBGP, MPLS and VPN technologies.• Advanced experience with wireless networking, RF and heat mapping tools• Advanced experience with network functions such as DHCP, DNS, AD, WINS and how to design and administer solutions as well as troubleshoot problems as they relate to the network operations.• Advanced knowledge of load balancers and firewalls (ex. NetScaler's)Nice to Have Skills & Experience• Experience administering a distributed enterprise network, hosts and devices over more than 200 sites.• Experience working with Wireshark, and other network troubleshooting tools.• Experience working with Juniper Networks SRX and EX• Experience Aruba Switches, Airwave, Central, and Clearpass• Experience with large-scale network upgrade projects with national distribution.• Experience with network-oriented enterprise storage solutions (iSCSI, FCoE)• AWS Associate level certification.Job DescriptionThis position involves supporting the enterprise network and IT infrastructure, working onsite in Irving, TX, five days a week. Key responsibilities include ensuring efficient network performance, participating in architecture reviews, developing standards for stability and scalability, and researching automated approaches for network administration. The role also involves daily maintenance of network infrastructures, advanced troubleshooting, hardware installation, system monitoring, disaster recovery, and mentoring junior pensation:$95,000 to $110,000 per year annual salary + 15% annual bonusExact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
