Travel Nurse RN - Telemetry Med Surg - $2,132 per week

Certification Details BLS ACLS NIHSS Job Details A hospital in Arizona is looking for experienced nurses for a travel contract for their MS/Tele float pool. The right candidate will have 2+ years of current tele experience, an active BLS, ACLS and AZ license or compact. Travelers must be able to titrate drips! There will be frequent floating to the sister facility, Mercy Gilbert. Travelers are required to pass a dysrhythmia exam prior to starting (2 max attempts) and will take a pass/fail Sim lab on day 1 of orientation. COVID vaccine is required or declination form with supporting documentation from clergy or MD. Job Requirements 2+ years of current tele experience Active BLS certification Active ACLS certification AZ license or compact Must be able to titrate cardiac drips Pass a dysrhythmia exam prior to signing contract (2 max attempts) Pass/fail Sim lab on day one of orientation Schedule Information 12 hr shifts, 7-7 Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend Floating is required between Chandler & Mercy Gilbert campuses Notification of campus and unit given 1.5 hrs prior to shift start Floating to different units mid-shift can happen Unit Specific Information Tele B3A: CV Tele B3A, 32 beds, Ratios: 1:3-4, Charge Nurse: Yes, no patient assignment. Tele Neuro: A3 Neuro, 28 beds, Ratios: 1:3-4, Charge Nurse: Yes, no patient assignment. Medical-Surgical C5: 32 beds, Ratios: 1:4, Charge Nurse: Yes, does not take patients. Medical-Surgical B2C: 29 beds, Ratios: 1:4, Charge Nurse: Yes, does not take patients. Additional Details MUST BE ABLE TO TITRATE CARDIAC DRIPS! Travelers will need to pass a dysrhythmia exam PRIOR TO SIGNING CONTRACT (2 MAX ATTEMPTS), within 48 hours of offer. If traveler fails, they will be sent home and made a DNU for 6 months for CSH AZ and CSH Sac regions. There is also a pass/fail Sim Lab on day one of orientation. If traveler fails Sim, they will be sent home and made a DNU for 6 mo. Floating would include between Chandler & Mercy Gilbert campuses.
