As we continue to grow, we seek a dynamic and results-driven Sales Representative to expand our presence in the contemporary market while managing and growing relationships with independent retailers.Position SummaryThe Sales Representative will be based in our New York, NY office and will be responsible for identifying and developing new accounts in the contemporary market, managing independent customers, and driving sales growth while executing key brand initiatives. This role requires a deep understanding of the industry landscape, a strategic approach to business development, and strong collaboration with internal teams to ensure market success.Key ResponsibilitiesBusiness Development - Identify, engage, and establish partnerships with new accounts in the contemporary market and independent retail sector to drive sales dependent Account Management - Maintain and grow relationships with independent customers, ensuring their needs are met while maximizing sales opportunities.Sales & Brand Strategy Execution - Present seasonal collections to buyers, ensuring alignment with key brand strategies and financial objectives.Cross-Functional Collaboration - Work closely with merchandising, design, and marketing teams to develop and execute market strategies each season.Market & Consumer Insights - Provide feedback on sales trends, customer preferences, and product assortment needs to support design and business objectives.Account Performance & Growth - Analyze individual account performance, identify sales opportunities, and implement strategies to drive growth and profitability.Office-Based Role - This role requires working from our New York, NY office to collaborate with internal teams and manage account relationships effectively.Trade Show Attendance - Represent the brand at key trade shows, fostering new business relationships and strengthening existing partnerships.Travel - Must be willing to travel for trade shows, account meetings, and industry events as needed.QualificationsProven experience in wholesale sales, preferably within the footwear or fashion industry.Strong relationships with contemporary market retailers and independent accounts, or the ability to build new connections.Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.Strategic mindset with the ability to analyze sales data and identify growth opportunities.Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Office 365 tools, including Outlook, Teams, and PowerPoint, to manage reporting and client communications effectively.Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment while managing multiple priorities.
