A global manufacturing company is seeking a Sales Engineer to drive business growth and expand market presence. The ideal candidate is a results-driven technical sales professional with expertise in business development and key account management. Communicating effectively, the successful candidate will ensure revenue growth by identifying opportunities, managing regional sales, and building strong client relationships while adhering to sales processes and aligning with strategic business objectives.Salary + Additional Benefits: $71,000-$110,000 + 35% bonus potentialMedical, Dental, Vision Insurance401K - company match Location: Houston, TXType of Position: Direct HireResponsibilities: Follow established sales processes and guidelines to promote and sell company products and services. Analyze and understand market insights and the customers' buying behavior and make sales plans according to the business division strategy and targets, by working closely with experienced sales or sales team leader.Look for and manage leads from the market and customers and convert them into real business opportunities to ensure the clude, identify, and develop new markets & customers and build positive relationships that will generate future sales and repeat business.Aftermarket: Manage sales rep firms and call directly on customers.Capital Equipment: Business Development at EPC's and OEM's.Capital Equipment: Call directly on EPC's and OEM's, and perhaps select end clude social media selling such as webinars, LinkedIn, etc. as applicable.Be active in the market and focus on making visits, meetings, and interactions with customers, focusing on customer needs, understanding and highlighting the value of our products and services.Run the operation by managing the customer grid and proactive planning in our tools. Build and maintain a sufficient network of customers.Develop highly profitable quotes reflecting the customer needs stressing the unique selling points and follow up.Own the orders through the entire process (quoting, entry, follow-up, expedited, etc.).Use the CRM tool and other tools in a consistent and qualitative way to support the sales process and take decisions.Work proactive and structured with the sales in order to optimize the sales efficiency.Assist in the development of sales, marketing, customer retention, advertising and pricing strategies for the region. Support Channel Sales only as required.Expected travel 25-35%.Requirements:Accredited University Degree (or international equivalent) in Engineering2-3 years of progressive experience in sales and sales management with technical equipment sales Experience in managing a regional sales territory with responsibility with minimum of $2+ million dollars in annual sales revenue Experience with various sales tools (e.g. CRM, ERP, etc.)Experience in a lean andor six sigma environment preferredProficient in Microsoft Office SuiteStrong sales and market analysis skillsStrong prospecting and business development skillsStrong key account management skillsEffectively communicate with internal and external business partners, both orally and in writing; English preferred (bilingual is a plus)Due to the high volume of applications we typically receive, we regret that we are not able to personally respond to all applications.
