Pay: $100,000-120,000 (Compensation can vary depending on experience) LocationCincinnati, OH 45069General Overview We are seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to lead a team of talented engineers and drive technical excellence in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. In this role, you will oversee engineering operations, define technical strategy, manage project timelines, and ensure efficient execution. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of balancing multiple priorities while fostering innovation and collaboration.ResponsibilitiesLead high-impact engineering projects that enhance company performance, such as securing California DSA approval or standardizing engineering detailing for production.Serve as a key member of the senior management team, collaborating with the President and department heads to shape the company's growth.Build, mentor, and develop a high-performing engineering team, ensuring both technical and professional development.Oversee project planning, prioritization, and execution to ensure timely delivery of high-quality products.Provide technical direction and make critical design decisions to guide teams through complex challenges.Collaborate with project management and cross-functional teams to define technical requirements and align goals.Manage resource allocation, balancing workloads, and prioritizing projects based on business needs.Continuously improve departmental processes, tools, and workflows to enhance efficiency and productivity.Act as a liaison between engineering and other departments, providing regular updates on project progress and technical challenges.Oversee the engineering department's budget, including resource allocation and technology investments.Develop and track key performance metrics that align with the company's strategic goals.Manage design changes within standard product lines and maintain related drawing revisions.RequirementsBachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, preferably Structural Engineering.5+ years of experience in engineering management or a similar leadership role.Strong technical background with hands-on experience in engineering practices.Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and collaborate with product and design teams.Proficiency in 2D & 3D design software such as Solid Edge, AutoCAD, or SolidWorks.Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and adapt to changing priorities.Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to make critical decisions under pressure.
