DESCRIPTION:Plans, defines, directs, and coordinates manufacturing engineering process to support product cost, manufacturing process development, CNC programming, ERP product configuration and engineering systems. Oversees product and process development both internally and externally.ESSENTIAL DUTIES:• Lead the engineering team, including coaching, allocating resources effectively and reviewing team performance.• Analyze available technology, market needs and existing resources to determine project feasibility.• Ensure that the product is fully and correctly defined and documented.• Oversees product costing, product pricing, and customer interface regarding product cost.• Develop, and coordinate engineering systems such as ERP, CAD, CAM, New Product introduction.• Guide and approve financial decisions including ordering of materials, expenditures, and reporting.• Coordinate and direct teams to complete projects, including documentation and integration of technical components.• Manage resources required to design, plan, and support all information products and services.• Builds organizational capabilities.• Conducts strategic planning.• Regularly interfaces with organization's executive leadership.• Responsible for fulfilling the Company's commitment to provide a safe environment and to conduct its operations in compliance with applicable laws and regulations and accepted practices for health, safety and environmental protection.• Comply with applicable environmental, health and safety laws and regulations, Company policy and accepted safe work practices.• Perform additional related duties as assigned.EDUCATION ANDOR EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:• Bachelor's Degree with 15-20 years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.PHYSICAL DEMANDS WHILE PERFORMING THE JOB:• Occasional travel to Arizona sites.• Sitting for extended periods of time• Occasionally walkingWORKING ENVIRONMENT OF THE JOB:• The employee will be required to use personal protective equipment (PPE) to prevent exposure to hazardous materials commonly used in a manufacturing environment (i.e., safety glasses and shoes) when entering the shop floor area.• Normal Office Environment
