JOB DESCRIPTION:We are seeking two (2) detail-oriented Construction Site Inspectors to oversee ground-up construction projects for school buildings. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in inspecting large-scale educational construction projects, with expertise in MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) systems, site walks, and conducting safety meetings. This role requires a meticulous professional who can ensure projects meet all quality, safety, and regulatory standards. This is a permanent hire position with projects cycles ranging from 18-24 months across Central and Southern New Jersey Conduct thorough inspections of ground-up construction projects for school buildings. Conduct site walks and safety meetings at each location assigned. Inspect the design, installation, and integration of MEP systems. Ensure compliance with all relevant building codes, safety regulations, and school district requirements. Collaborate with architects, engineers, contractors, and school district representatives to ensure project goals are met. Perform regular site visits to monitor construction progress, quality, and safety. Identify and report potential risks and issues that may impact project timelines or budgets. Review and evaluate detailed project proposals, including cost estimates and timelines. Prepare and present regular inspection reports to stakeholders. Maintain accurate and comprehensive project documentation, including inspection reports, contracts, change orders, and permits. Participate in project meetings and facilitate communication between all project stakeholders. Promote a positive and collaborative work environment.REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction site inspection, with a focus on ground-up builds for educational facilities. Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and best practices. Expertise in MEP systems, including design, installation, and integration. Excellent inspection and project management skills, including scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation. Proficiency in inspection and project management software (e.g., MS Project, Procore, or similar). Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a diverse team of professionals. Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities. Knowledge of local building codes, safety regulations, and school district requirements. OSHA 30
