Job SummaryThe HVAC Technician is responsible for installing, servicing, and repairing environmental control systems in office buildings and industrial areas. This role ensures optimal system performance through preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs while adhering to safety and compliance standards.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform routine maintenance, including filter replacements, coil cleaning, and drain line spect, test, and repair HVAC components such as thermostats, controls, electrical wiring, and refrigerant systems.Diagnose and troubleshoot system failures, ensuring timely corrections.Conduct airflow checks, duct inspections, and motor lubrication.Maintain accurate records of maintenance, repairs, and preventive tasks in CMMS logs.Support general maintenance, plumbing, and electrical duties as ply with safety guidelines, work independently, and collaborate with teams as needed.Qualifications & SkillsExperience: 3-5 years in HVAC equipment maintenance (industrialcommercial preferred).Certifications: Universal HVAC Certification required.Skills: Strong troubleshooting ability, blueprint reading, and safe use of power tools.Other Requirements: Must obtainhold government security clearance.Work Environment & ScheduleFull-time (40 hoursweek), with potential weekend shifts and overtime.Physically demanding role requiring lifting (up to 75 lbs), standing, bending, and climbing.Designated as Essential Personnel for emergency situations.
