Packaging Engineer

Job Title: Packaging EngineerLocation: Onsite - Irvine, CAJob Overview:We are looking for a Packaging Engineer to help design and improve packaging for medical devices. You will make sure our packaging meets all the necessary standards and is ready for production.Key Responsibilities:Design and develop packaging for medical devices (e.g., sterile barrier systems, trays, and pouches).Create and test packaging validation protocols.Ensure packaging complies with FDA and ISO standards.Update packaging specifications and assist with artwork changes.Lead packaging testing and prepare validation reports.Work with lab technicians and manufacturing teams to implement packaging designs.Requirements:Education: Bachelor's degree in Packaging Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.Experience: At least 5 years of experience in packaging for medical devices.Skills: SolidWorks expertise (Artios CAD is a plus).Knowledge: Experience with Tyvek-based packaging and ISO 11607 standards.Testing: Ability to perform and document packaging validation tests.
