Job Title: Change Order SpecialistLocation: Fremont, CA 94538 (On Site)Pay range: $38-45hour on W2 (depending on experienceinterview)Job Type: 2+ Years Contract Role Shift: 8AM - 5 PM PST - Initially on-time on-time (8 AM - 5 PM, Mon-Fri), with potential flexibility after a few monthsJob Description:CO Writer is a Change Order (ECRECO) specialist responsible for engineering change control process as part of PLM.Beyond generating and processing Change Orders, duties will include data mining, POC for change related escalations, managing trackers, inter department reports and CIP activities in a high pace environment.Responsibilities:Generates and manages Change Orders (CO) thru closurePerform documentation research for all partsassemblies to be included in the Engineering Change Order to ensure accuracy, completeness, and adherence to change control policiesprocedures and design drafting standards.Makes decisions, provides recommendations andor escalates based on the needs of the situationSupports NPI PMs (New Product Introduction Program Managers) on a daily basis for Engineering Change Order activitiesInterfaces with Engineers and Designers on design solutions into BOMs that align with lean manufacturing requirementsResponsible to align key collaborators to drive to solutions in alignment with cutin strategies, E&O and effectivitiesResponsible POC for Engineering Change Order activitiesMonitor and prioritize tasks to ensure efficient and timely change cut inProcess part numbers, bills of material and change orders which include preparation for change control board, review for clarity, errors and proper approval routing, accuracy and completenessTrack documents from initiation to final approvalTracking and reporting on document review progressDevelop, track and report key metricsAll candidates must have work hour flexibility. â—¦ This is key, I have an extended team in India and there is often a need, for this role, to have early morning (~7-8 AM) or late evening (~9-10 PM) conference calls. ~Half hour calls, 3-4 times a week.Support Special Projects and Department InitiativesSupport user acceptance testing and represent the Department in cross functional discussion with other organizations.Act as Initial escalation point for gaps and unattended risks and issues until resolvedOnsite Felx - But first few months all 5 Days per week Onsite due to training, After Training it will be 4 days On site per weekSkills:Ability to operate efficiently and effectively in a fast-paced environmentMust have thorough understanding of cutin strategies, E&O, effectivity and dispositionThorough understanding of change management and configuration management practicesThorough understanding of systemproduct engineering lifecycle and challenges associated with it.Ability to work required overtime to support manufacturing needs and requests from our customers.Strong attention to details and uncompromising dedication to qualitySuperior verbal and written communication skillsExceptional organization skillsDemonstrated analytical abilities with strong attention to detailExcellent follow-throughMust be driven and self-motivated as well as a team playerAbility to multitask and work well under pressureMS suite expertiseiPLMSAP experienceTeam Center PLM experienceEducationExperience:B.S in Mechanical Engineering and 3 years of Experience or Applicable Semiconductor Industry ExperienceMax Over all Experience 5 to 8 Years , (~3 year change management experience is plus , also CAD skill is plus but not a requirement )Recent Graduate can be considered but must include detailed list of applicable school projects with resume in lieu of work experience.Person should be quick learner with motivation to keep learningTop Skills - Experience Level: Maximum of 5 -8 yearsChange ManagementBill of Materials (BOM) ManagementProduct Lifecycle Management (PLM) ExperienceConfiguration Management Config BOM ManagementManufacturing Experience (preferred but not required)"Russell Tobin offers eligible employees comprehensive healthcare coverage (medical, dental, and vision plans), supplemental coverage (accident insurance, critical illness insurance and hospital indemnity), a 401(k)-retirement savings, life & disability insurance, an employee assistance program, identity theft protection, legal support, auto and home insurance, pet insurance, and employee discounts with some preferred vendors."
