Our antennas are recognized worldwide for robust designs and reliability.mWAVE is part of Alaris Holdings Ltd, a global technology company with engineering and manufacturing locations in the US, UK, Finland, Germany, and South Africa.MUST BE ABLE TO GET A US DOD SECURITY CLEARANCEBASIC REQUIREMENTS:Education Bachelors in Mechanical EngineeringEducation - Suggested Masters in Engineering or Related FieldMinimum Applicable Work Experience 7 years' experience in Mechanical EngineeringRequired Nature of Applicable Experience Experience designing custom products to specificationComputer Literacy Highly Proficient - MS Excel MS Word MS PowerPoint Highly Proficient - 3D Solid ModellingComputer Literacy - Suggested SolidWorks, FEA Simulation, Computer ProgrammingLanguage Proficient in EnglishKEY PERFORMANCE REQUIREMENTS:ENGINEERING FOCUSWork independently performing Mechanical design and engineering on antenna products and production tooling to achieve project goals and design requirementsEnsuring designs adhere to relevant industry standardsDevelop, plan, coordinate, carry out mechanical environmental testing as necessaryDevelop manufacturing methods internally and externally to support production objectivesCreate Product Bills of MaterialsAssist with Testing (antennaelectronicmechanicalenvironmental) and recording of test resultsMaintain product drawings, BOM's, and work instructionsProvide First Line support of products to the internal department (e.g. Production, Quality, Sales)Take the initiative to develop engineering skills and understanding of mWAVE products when opportunities to do so arise.PRODUCTIONAssist with the production of prototype first article product buildsDesign and develop hardware and software to assist with any production related function as deemed needed by management;Design electronic and mechanical tooling for testing and manufacturing purposes.Hands-on practical skills in assembling products and fixtures, soldering, and general DIY.AD HOCPerform any other duties as requested by managementOTHER REQUIREMENTSBe a hardworking, driven, self-motivated, ambitious person who will be able to work independently and accuratelyWork as a team player while maintaining a positive attitude 100% of the timeEngage with and support the Manufacturing floor to ensure revenue targets are achieved.Have excellent oral and written communication skills.Have a keen eye for attention to detail.Possess excellent interpersonal skills.Be able to work independently, with a high degree of responsibility.Work well under pressure and adhere to deadlines.Have great problem-solving skillsBe good at time management for self and others when necessaryBuy in and believe in mWAVE's strategy of 10% Year-over-Year Sales GrowthWhy should you join mWAVE?mWAVE is a fast-paced, high-tech, growing company that recognizes employees with a promote-from-within philosophy.
