We are seeking a highly skilled Structural Analysis Engineer to perform stress, thermal, and vibration analysis on complex mechanical systems. This role involves utilizing Finite Element Analysis (FEA) software, verifying results through hand calculations, and ensuring the integrity of aerospace and high-performance mechanical components. The ideal candidate will have aerospace industry experience and a strong understanding of structural mechanics, material properties, and dynamic loads.Key Responsibilities:Conduct FEA simulations (ANSYS) to evaluate structural, modal, thermal, and fatigue performance.Perform hand calculations to validate stress analysis and verify model accuracy.Apply industry standards for evaluating flanged joints, crack propagation, bolted connections, and dynamic loading conditions (NASA, ASME, MIL-SPEC).Work with 3D CAD software (Creo preferred) and apply Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) principles.Provide design recommendations based on analysis results to improve structural efficiency and reliability.Generate comprehensive technical reports documenting findings, methodologies, and recommendations.Present analysis findings to engineering teams, leadership, and external stakeholders.Collaborate daily with valves, actuators, tubing, pressurized components, and aerospace hardware.Support the Chief Engineer on ad-hoc projects and advanced structural analysis tasks.Qualifications & Skills:Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or related field.10+ years of experience in structural analysis, preferably within aerospace or high-performance mechanical systems.Strong understanding of stress, fatigue, and dynamic load analysis.Experience with FEA tools such as ANSYS, LS-Dyna, and proficiency in hand calculations.Familiarity with aerospace materials, coatings, and treatments.Experience with CAD software (Creo preferred) and EPDM systems.Ability to work effectively in a high-pressure, results-driven environment.Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.This is an exciting opportunity for an engineer who thrives in high-performance environments and is passionate about solving complex structural challenges.
