The candidate will possess generator installation and troubleshooting skills. The knowledge of rebuilding electrical service replacements, ATS, meter replacements, panel improvement along with tremendous troubleshooting and problem-solving skills are qualities held by preferred candidates. We are looking for exceptional leaders, with a willingness to mentor to coincide with their skillset. If you are an experienced and decorated electrician with the ability to design and implement electrical systems, experience in generator installation while demonstrating a high level of electrical skills and expertise, we urge you to apply today! The day-to-day tasks of the Residential Service Electrician typically include, but are not limited to: Troubleshooting electrical problems: Identifying the source of electrical issues by inspecting wiring, circuit breakers, and fixtures using testing equipment. Generator Installation: A solid background in mechanical and electrical systems to effectively install and service generators. Repairing electrical systems: Replacing damaged wiring, faulty outlets, switches, or light fixtures. Installing new electrical components: Installing new outlets, lighting fixtures, ceiling fans, and appliance circuits as per customer requests and building codes. Electrical system upgrades: Upgrading outdated electrical panels, wiring, or fixtures to meet modern standards. Safety inspections: Checking for potential electrical hazards like loose connections, damaged insulation, or overloaded circuits. Reading blueprints and electrical diagrams: Understanding and interpreting electrical plans to accurately locate wiring and components. Customer interaction: Communicating clearly with homeowners about the problem, proposed solutions, and costs. Compliance with codes: Ensuring all electrical work is performed according to local and national electrical codes. No matter what your level of experience their room will always be to move up to increasing responsibility.Minimum Requirements The Residential Service Electrician with Generator Experience shall meet the following minimum requirements:· Hold a valid driver's license with own reliable transportation.· 10+ years of experience working as an electrician with viable skills and troubleshooting capabilities· Generator Installation experience· Formal Electrical certifications andor licenses (Journeyman andor Master level proficiency), a bachelor's degree in a related electrical field or construction management or relatable equivalent on-the-job experience· OSHA 30-Hour Construction Safety Certification (preferred).· Other duties as assigned.
