About the Role: Position: Senior Software Database EngineerLocation: Redmond, WASummary:The purpose of this team is a dev team that helps bridge the gaps between current tech that exists within the org. The team is building a lot of prototypes. Front and Backend work.Top 3 Hard Skills Required + Years of ExperienceMinimum 8-10 years experience with PythonMinimum 8-10 years experience with SynapseMinimum 8-10 years experience with KustoKey projects: This role will contribute to the below 8-10 overall years of experience in the field.Designs architecture to include the software, hardware, and communications to support the total requirements as well as provide for present and future crossfunctional requirements and mon query and function review, analysis and creation.Data validation and hygiene investigations into ongoing data misunderstanding corresponding data engineering solutions.Maintenance, integrity, and availability of common views and Kusto functions.Ensures these systems are compatible and in compliance with the standards for agency IT architectures, and profiles of standards as they apply to the implementation and specific to the solution for the platform, integration with other systems, and the external interfaces.Ensures that the common operating environment is compliant. Evaluates analytically and systematically problems of work flows, organization and planning and develops appropriate corrective action.Provides daily supervision and direction to staff.Job Responsibilities:Experience with broad technology delivery, including custom development using various development languages.Experience with providing technical leadership, mentoring on software engineering design, development, and frameworks, analyzing alternatives, and presenting technical options to leads and clients.Experience with driving technical planning and solutions for small software portfolio, including authoring or managing the development of software designs, managing vendor evaluations, and justifying technical recommendations.Ability to apply fundamental concepts, processes, practices, and procedures on technical assignments.Experience with Python, Synapse, Kusto, Databricks, Data Pipelines, SQL.Salary Range: $140,000 to 165,000 Annually Factors that may affect pay within this range may include geographymarket, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
