Responsibilities:Provide administrative support to attorneys handling immigration matters, including employment-based and family-based petitions, naturalization, asylum, and other immigration processes.Prepare, proofread, and edit legal documents such as petitions (H1B, EB5), applications (PERM, L1A, E2 investor), affidavits, and correspondence to government agencies (USCIS, ICE, EOIR, DOS, etc.).Maintain and organize case files, ensuring accuracy and compliance with immigration regulations and firm policies.Assist in the preparation and filing of immigration applications, including assembling supporting documentation and ensuring timely submission.Monitor deadlines and case progress, managing attorney calendars and scheduling client municate with clients, government agencies, and other stakeholders regarding case status, documentation requests, and general inquiries.Conduct research on immigration laws, policies, and procedures as needed.Coordinate billing and timekeeping activities, preparing invoices and tracking attorney billable hours.Handle administrative duties such as scheduling appointments, managing calendars, answering phone calls, managing emails, processing mail, and other clerical duties.Qualifications & Skills:Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.5+ years of experience in administrative support in the legal or professional services sector, in an immigration law firm or legal setting preferred.Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) Internet research skills, document management systems, and attorney time entry software. Immigration case management software experience(e.g., LawLogix, INSZoom, or Docketwise) preferred.Strong ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and maintain accuracy in a detail-oriented environment.Familiar with MD, DC andor Virginia Court Systems and e-filing experience.Excellent written and verbal communication skills; bilingual (Spanish or another language) a plus.Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.Willingness to work collaboratively with attorneys, clients, and other staff members.
