We are in a growth mode and looking to expand our workforce to help support this. We offer job training to develop our best asset, our people. We are looking to add a Manufacturing Engineer to our team that will drive us to growth by providing as a subject matter expert along with supporting production, with a primary focus in sustaining engineering, new productprocess introduction and continuous improvement initiatives. Roles and Responsibilities:Coordinates the manufacturing launch of newrevised products including establishing goals, training team members, and evaluating results including the development and execution of validation plansprotocols and performance analysis for manufacturing processes. Lead continuous improvement projects utilizing lean manufacturing & six sigma methodologies.Collect and analyze statistical process control (SPC) data to optimize manufacturing processes.Create engineering drawings and develop 3D solid models.Design fixtures to improve production and inspection processes.Create manufacturing work instructions.Createmodify programs for CNC machines.Createmodify programs for automated inspection equipment such as CMMs, vision systems and optical comparators.Provide engineering support for initial production runs for new product development.Provide documentation support for engineering change requests.Represents manufacturing on cross-functional teams.Performs other related duties as assigned.Qualifications:Experience with machining (turning, milling, grinding) and fabrication processes.Proficient with 3D CAD and solid modeling (SolidWorks a plus)Experience with CAM programming (Esprit a plus)Knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GDT) standards and useHighly organized with strong documentation skillsExperience with dimensional measurement equipment including CMMs, optical comparators, vision systems, calipers, micrometers and bore gages.Strong quantitative skills including the use of statistics for decision making processes.Ability to use problem solving, project management and technical skills in a dynamic and diverse production environment. Good interpersonal and communication skills.EducationExperience: A Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field is preferred; or at least three or more years of similar experience in a Manufacturing Engineering role delivering results within a precision machining environment. Swiss turning process experience is highly desired. Medical andor Aerospace experience is highly desired. Must be a US citizen or permanent resident.
