Job Title: QC Analyst ILocation: 4038 Avenida De La Plata, Oceanside, CA 92056 Contract Duration: 12 months (potential for extension or conversion to FTE) Compensation: $30hour (W2) Position Summary The QC Analyst I will perform routine and non-routine analyses of the manufacturing environment and in-process commercial products following standard operating procedures (SOPs). Responsibilities include collecting, processing, and reporting data while adhering to good manufacturing practices (cGMP) and good laboratory practices (GLP). The role involves calibrating and maintaining laboratory equipment, troubleshooting and optimizing testing methods, and ensuring product quality and safety. Additionally, the QC Analyst I will prepare documentation for internal and regulatory submissions, review data for compliance with specifications, and investigate anomalies.Key ResponsibilitiesEssential Duties Conduct routine testing and basic troubleshooting in accordance with cGMP standards. Perform microbiological and chemical assays per established protocols. Collaborate with the QC team to ensure timely completion of all required testing. Participate in routine projects, including data trending, review, and reporting. Maintain laboratory equipment and ensure compliance with safety and environmental guidelines. Train new personnel and contribute to lab maintenance efforts. Collect and manage data using electronic systems, generating reports as needed. Comply with TSA Security Threat Assessment (STA) requirements for warehouse access. Supplementary DutiesAttend team, departmental, and corporate meetings as required. Qualifications Education and ExperienceBachelor's degree in biology, Microbiology, Biochemistry, Chemistry, or a related discipline, with 1 year of relevant experience. Associate's degree (AA) with 4 years of related experience. High School Diploma (HS) with 6 years of related experience. Additional RequirementsProficiency in laboratory practices and safety protocols. Ability to follow environmental and safety guidelines.
