HUMAN RESOURCES ADMINISTRATOR General Summary:Under general supervision, performs a range of human resource administrative duties to support the manufacturing plant associates and management team. Assists with associate engagement activities, recruiting, onboarding, safety, and other related HR initiatives for site. Acts as a resource for associate questions, inquiries and concerns.Essential Duties & Responsibilities:· Provides administrative support for HR including engagement, company activities, recruiting, onboarding, safety, training, benefits, and general administration. Supports associates and answers questions on a regular basis.· Enters data and assists with maintaining associate records including entering new hire information into human resource information systems· Maintains associate files, safety records, training forms and related personnel records; Organizes active and inactive files, I-9, and other related documents by following procedure. May assist with hourly time keeping processes such as collecting and filing employee missed punch forms, as directed.· Helps plan and organize company events such as appreciation events, job fairs andor other activities.· Responds to unemployment, employment verification and other applicable employee information inquiries from outside parties.· Assists with Purchase Orders and required documentation for approval.· Assists with various HR communications including managing employee suggestion boxes, updating communication boards, and developing communications designed to improve employee welfare and engagement.· Supports recruiting efforts by posting open positions to job boards (Indeed, etc.), Intranet, website and other social media platforms, as assigned. Assists with screening candidates, coordinating drug screens and background checks, and setting up interview schedules.· Coordinates onboarding activities such as issuing ID badges, ordering uniformstemporary agency shirts, and assisting with new hire paperwork.· Assists with new hire orientation along with other HR members.· Performs various safety related activities including maintaining documentation related to incidents and accidents, investigations, and other safety-related records, maintaining first aid kits, fire extinguishers, eye wash stations and the like for compliance, and participating in plant tours to observe safety and health concerns.· Serves on company safety committee, take meeting minutes andor lead specific actions with other team members.· Assists with pool car tracking, maintenance, scheduling, cleaning and other activities, as needed.· May assist with other corporate affairs items such as office supply orders, travel requests, mail, and general building requests.· Performs other duties as assigned.*Minimum Level of Education & Experience:· Bachelors degree in HR Management, HR Development, Business or related field, or the equivalent combination of education and experience.Three years of HR, Administrative andor Safety experience preferred
