As we continue to expand, we are looking for a talented and driven Business Manager to join our team.Position Summary:The Business Manager will be responsible for overseeing the operations, sales, and profitability of the company. This position will manage a team of sales representatives and support staff while developing strategies to grow the business, strengthen customer relationships, and improve operational efficiencies. The Business Manager will work closely with the leadership team to drive revenue, implement marketing initiatives, follow up on sales agronomists' sales goals and achievements, and ensure that the company is meeting operational and sales goals.Key Responsibilities:1. Sales & Revenue Growth:Collaborate with senior management to develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy for the company to meet growth targets.Manage sales agronomist's establishment, execution and realization of sales goals.Identify new business opportunities and manage relationships with existing customers to ensure repeat business and customer satisfaction.Analyze market trends and competition.Collaborate with the marketing team to promote products and services and enhance the company's brand presence in the market.2. Operational Management:Oversee inventory management, ordering, and logistics to ensure the availability of fertilizer products and efficient delivery to customers.Monitor and ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements regarding fertilizer storage, handling, and application.Implement and refine processes to improve operational efficiency, reduce costs, and ensure timely fulfillment of customer orders.3. Financial Management:Develop and manage budgets, tracking expenses, revenue, and profitability.Prepare regular financial reports and presentations for senior management.Analyze financial performance and implement corrective actions as necessary to achieve financial goals.Qualifications:Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Agriculture, Agribusiness, or a related field (MBA or other advanced degree preferred).Experience:Minimum of 5 years of experience in agricultural retail, with at least 2-3 years in a management or leadership role.Proven experience in the fertilizer, agricultural, or a related industry.Strong understanding of fertilizer products, usage, and regulatory considerations.Excellent leadership and team management skills.Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales -depth knowledge of agricultural markets and customer needs.Ability to analyze financial data and make data-driven decisions.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM systems.Work Environment:This role will involve a combination of office work and travel to meet with customers, suppliers, and team members.
