AS Beauty is looking for a Director of Sales Strategy. This role supports the VP of Sales to own global assortment for all sales channels. This role has experience and knowledge of all aspects of sales strategy and work alongside departments to support efforts in strategic marketing, demand planning, merchandising, e-commerce, and creative.Salary Range: $170,000-$190,000 Per YearPrimary ResponsibilitiesReporting to the VP of Sales Strategy. Support the VP by helping to own the "global" assortment for all sales channels (E-Commerce, Amazon Retail, etc.), for a key brand underneath AS Beauty's ownershipPartner with each channel to understand the strengths and opportunities of each franchise and SKUWorking with Product Development and Sourcing to fill holes in the assortment through innovation and franchise expansionObtain target cogs, projected quantities and MSRP expectations per channel and come up with a pricing strategy (MSRPs) that works for all channelsCome up with exit strategies for SKUsfranchises that are underperformingWork on SKU positioning with VP of sales strategy, Product Development and SKU education across total companyReview copy with channels and provide feedback to copy teamManage the Re-Support Calendar and look for areas for expansion, identify product initiatives and what strengths and opportunities there might beHelp each sales channel synergizeChannels should come to sales strategy with product innovation ideas and data for sales strategy and channel to executeHelp the VP Maintain Data: Coming up with ways to synergize data to analyze the success of a franchiseSKU across all channelsOwning the Holiday program, the creation of the assortment the strategy, collecting the success of the current years program across all platformsWorking on value setsbundle strategy with E-Comm and Amazon teamsWork with VP of Sales Strategy and Demand Planning team on how to better each channels forecast abilities and push to take risks and conservative approaches on levels of inventory depending on franchise potentialReview Excess monthly and help maintain inventory levels at all warehousesRecognizing ways to properly exit and liquidate skusTracking the success of innovation items. Having strong entrance and exit strategy for skus, monitoring the success closely for 3 months before determining if a sku becomes part of the core assortment. If unsuccessful, strategize how to exit properlyRequirements: Bachelor's or Masters degree preferred in Marketing, Business, or related major, or related job experience8-10 years of related business development, marketing, and sales experience; with 5 or more years of managerial experience, with demonstrated ability to develop and implement comprehensive sales and business strategiesProficient with MS Office software (Excel; Word; PowerPoint) Able to work independently as a self-motivated individual with a strong willingness to learn in a fast-paced environmentStrong communication and collaboration skillsMust be able to work 4-days a week in NYC office
