Electrical Estimator

Job Title: Electrical EstimatorLocation: Newark, New JerseySalary: $130K - $150KAre you a seasoned electrical estimator with a strong track record in the industry? We're seeking an experienced Senior Electrical Estimator to join our dynamic team in Newark, NJ. This is an exciting opportunity for a detail-oriented professional to take the lead in estimating projects and contributing to the growth and success of our business.Key Responsibilities:Lead the preparation of detailed cost estimates for commercial, industrial, and residential electrical projects.Analyze blueprints, specifications, and contract documents to determine project requirements and scope of work.Prepare quantity take-offs and estimate material, labor, and equipment costs.Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and clients to ensure accurate and competitive bids.Develop and maintain relationships with subcontractors and suppliers to obtain competitive pricing.Prepare and present bid proposals, including breakdowns of costs and schedules.Monitor and track projects post-bid, providing cost and value analysis throughout the project lifecycle.Stay updated with industry trends, building codes, and best practices.Qualifications:5+ years of experience as an electrical estimator, preferably in a senior roleExtensive knowledge of electrical systems, components, and installationsProficient in reading blueprints, schematics, and construction documentsStrong understanding of estimation software and tools (Accubid, McCormick, etc.)Excellent analytical and mathematical skills with attention to detailStrong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with team members, clients, and stakeholdersAbility to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlinesIf you are interested in this exciting opportunity, please APPLY and get in touch with Charlie Bennett @ Allegiance Group
