If you share these values, we welcome you to join our team!Job SummaryThe Mechanical Designer is responsible for creating product drawings, writing specifications and general drafting using Computer Aided Design (CAD) tools. They will interface with customers, vendors, and all levels of the organization regarding drawings and specifications.Job FunctionsCreate models and implement design improvements, design concepts and layouts.Resolve product and application issues that may arise.Generate new or revise existing drawings and specifications for electric motors, components, tools, jigs, fixtures, and equipment layout.Calculates material requirements, compiles material lists, and maintains specification terprets drawings and specifications using precision measuring instrumentsProcess Engineering Change Requests in a timely and accurate mannerQualificationsAssociate's degree or 2 years of professional experience in utilizing 2D and 3D CAD programs.Able to use small hand tools and measuring devicesTeam player with strong project management skills and take initiativeAbility to problem solve, use scientific principles and creativity to troubleshoot problemsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsJoin us in this exciting opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge projects and grow your career as a Mechanical Designer.We offer a highly competitive salary along with a generous benefit package!Equal Opportunity Employer
