The Equipment Engineer will work in the Class 100 semiconductor facility overseeing process equipment. Responsible for managing all equipment used in wafer fabrication and characterization. Including multiple process tools such as: high-vacuum deposition systems, plasma-enhanced deposition and etch systems, anneal ovensfurnaces, photo tracks and alignerssteppers, and various inspectionmeasurement tools.Part of the responsibilities will also include definition, selection and installation of new equipment to enhance current process capabilities andor to improve wafer throughput.Define appropriate preventive and routine maintenance procedures for the equipment.Performing scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, preventative maintenance, repairs and troubleshooting of software and hardware issues on all process and characterization equipment.Assist with the definition, selection and installation of new equipment. Perform ongoing assessment of equipment to enhance process capabilities and maintain processes, equipment hardware and to improve equipment up time.Should be knowledgeable in the responsibilities of a Process Engineer and assist as needed. Responsible for management of required spare parts.Responsible for maintaining a clean work environment.Some of the tasksprojects will be performed individually, while others will require close cooperation with other engineerstechnicians and the facilities manager.Additional duties may be assigned by management.This will be a first-shift position.Job Requirements: Candidate needs to have directly related experience (work in the semiconductor fab).Candidate must be able to easily handle partscomponents weighing up to 50lbs and be physically fit to perform all required tasks.
