Construction Superintendent - Heavy Civil Sitework

Company Overview:Our client is a leading general contractor specializing in Heavy Civil Sitework across New Jersey. They are known for their commitment to quality and excellence. They are seeking a dedicated and experienced Heavy Civil Superintendent to join their team and oversee the successful execution of key projects, starting with a new $60M sitework project in Jersey City. Key Responsibilities:Site Supervision: Oversee daily operations on construction sites, ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget.Team Leadership: Manage and coordinate site staff, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure efficient project execution.Quality Control: Ensure all work complies with industry standards, safety regulations, and company quality guidelines.Scheduling: Develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring timely completion of all project phases.Problem Solving: Identify and resolve any issues or conflicts that arise during construction.Reporting: Provide regular updates to project managers and senior management on project progress and any issues encountered.Qualifications:Education: High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field preferred.Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in a supervisory role within Heavy Civil Sitework or related heavy civil projects. Certifications: OSHA certification required. Additional certifications in construction safety and management are a plus.Skills: Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
