We hope you'll join us and see what the smiling pink whale is all aboutKey Responsibilities: Analyze sales; identify opportunities and risk on a weekly, monthly and seasonal basisRecommend re-orders, chase opportunities and potential swaps to drive profitable salesIdentify trends through store visits, and competitive research; share key learnings with cross functional partnersReport to team leaders best sellers, by door selling, and store feedbackPresent the seasonal line to buyers, pre-line with key accounts to get ahead of calendar needsPresent season collection to buyers in the showroom Articulate key strategic initiatives for the brandManage sales targets with a focus on profitabilityNegotiate terms, OTB, and location requests by accountPartner with cross functional teams on assortment strategies, branding opportunities and inventory revenue plansLead review of inbound shipments, extension requests, negotiations and initial bookings with cross f functional teamCreate seasonal line sheets and account buys in NuOrderProvide seasonal copy and digital assets for direct accountsManage item setup forms post buy for major accountsVisit stores on a regular basis to enhance visual presentation and build relationships with store associatesManage communication between customers and internal partners in Sales, Design, Merchandising, Production, PR and MarketingManage sample sets before each selling season and in season account requestsWhat You Bring:Bachelor's degree requiredKnowledge in retail industry; 4-6 years' experience in mens wholesale (majors) a plusExceptional analytical and strategic thinking skillsExcellent written and oral presentation skills; ability to communicate effectively to buyers and internal cross functional partnersStrong time management, prioritization, and organizational skillsTeam focused, confident and professionalAbility to react quickly with a strong sense of urgencyPassion for the Vineyard Vines brandPositive and enthusiastic attitudeCreative thinker, ability to identify opportunities with a new lensProficiency in Retail Math, Excel, Blue Cherry order management
