Cybersecurity Engineer (Cloud Security)We are seeking a Cybersecurity Engineer with expertise in securing cloud environments across AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud. This role focuses on designing, implementing, and managing cloud security solutions to enhance security posture. Candidates must have experience in federal secured environments or large enterprises.💰 Salary Range: $113,000 - $188,000 (based on experience and qualifications)📅 Start Date: Pending contract award in Q1Q2 2025 (not immediate hire)Key Responsibilities:Cloud Security Architecture: Design and implement security frameworks, policies, and best practices.Security Operations: Monitor threats, respond to incidents, and conduct security audits.Identity & Access Management (IAM): Manage secure access controls, MFA, and IAM policies.Data Protection: Implement encryption, data loss prevention (DLP), and backup strategies.Automation & DevSecOps: Integrate security into DevOps pipelines and develop automation tools.Threat Intelligence & Incident Response: Analyze threats, create incident response plans, and conduct post-incident reviews.Required Qualifications:Education & Experience:Senior Consultant: Bachelor's degree + 3+ years in cybersecurity (or Master's + 1+ year).Managing Consultant: Bachelor's degree + 5+ years (or Master's + 3+ years).Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Security, Azure Security, Google Cloud Security, CISSP).Knowledge of cloud security frameworks (NIST, CSA).Experience with cloud security tools (AWS Security Hub, Azure Security Center, Google Cloud Security Command Center).Strong problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.U.S. residency required.Preferred Qualifications:DOE Q-Sensitive clearance (preferred).Experience with container security (Docker, Kubernetes).Proficiency in scripting (Python, PowerShell) for automation.Knowledge of DevSecOps tools (Jenkins, Ansible).Located within 60 miles of a core office (preferred).Compensation & Benefits:Competitive salary ($113K - $188K) based on skills and centive bonuses and professional development prehensive benefits:Medical, dental, vision, and Rx insurance401(k) with company matchPaid time off, sick leave, and holidaysTuition reimbursement and certification supportParental leave and adoption assistanceStudent loan repayment optionsIf you're an experienced cloud security expert looking for a challenging opportunity in a high-impact role, apply today!
