This role is pivotal in driving innovation and excellence in engineering solutions, particularly in the areas of environmental control units (ECUs) and HVAC systems.Required Skills:Minimum of 5 years in engineering, with at least 2 years in a management role.Proficient in CAD programs, with a strong understanding of new product development. Bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering field.Must be a U.S. citizen.Preferred Skills:Proficiency in SolidWorks or AutoCAD.Prior experience within the military and defense sector.Key Responsibilities:Lead and supervise a team of 8-12 engineers, designers, and technicians.Conduct performance reviews and provide mentorship to direct reports.Manage project budgets, costs, and schedules, ensuring adherence to design timelines for technical reviews.Oversee engineering activities focusing on HVAC, ECU, and heating systems, including heating and cooling load calculations, refrigeration system design, and component selection.Engage in hands-on building, fitting, and testing of prototypes to validate designs and ensure operational efficiency.
