Must understand how to Forecast Labor and teach how to Forecast LaborMust be able to travel 50 percentMust be able to put together content to teach Project Manager and EstimatorsNice to have BISCI Trainer or RCDD Job Summary:The primary responsibility of the Operations Trainer is to train employees in all IES Communications software systems and processes.Job Duties and Responsibilities:Conduct training needs assessment by collecting information pertaining to work procedures, work flow, and reports; understanding job-specific functions and tasksEvaluates training by assessing effectiveness of training to specific job applicationsMaintains quality service by establishing and enforcing program specific standardsImplement training processes and best practices that add value and improve business performanceEnsure all personnel have required access and understand what their role requires within the systems that IES functions inProvide instruction and eLearning guides for new features as they are launchedDevelopment of comprehensive training materials for both classroom and eLearning experiencesConfirm staff understands how to correctly use systems and provide precise reporting to managementAs needed, provide one on one training sessions to employees with questions andor issues working in the various systemsProvide refresher trainings as necessaryWork with Training, Process and IT Management to identify any issues and correct any training materialsEnsure precise processes are being communicated in a timely mannerGather feedback from teams to improve trainings and processesOther responsibilities as assigned.MinUSD $70,000.00Yr.MaxUSD $90,000.00Yr.QualificationsPhysical and Mental Requirements:Operate as a team member of managementStrong verbal and written communication skillsStrong organizational skills and attention to detailLead by positive example on policy, quality, safety, ethics, and customer- satisfaction attitude.Must be able to work a non-standard work schedule as required to provide job, team or individual specific training.Must promote the Company culture and mission to all employees, vendors, clients and business partners.Must have proven problem-solving skills, critical thinking skills and the ability to effectively read, write and give oral presentation(s).Must be self-motivated, positive in approach, professional and lead others to create, develop, implement and review project process improvement(s).Must be an expert in the Company's management systems.Must able to travel within the United States as needed.Education, Certification, License, and Skill Requirements:Must possess at least a High School diploma or GED equivalency.Must have a minimum of three (3) years' experience at IES working in a PMA or higher- level role.Must have demonstrated knowledge of job costing, job planning, quality management, safety training and contract administration.Must be proficient with IESOS, Spectrum, SharePoint, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and MS Project).Working knowledge of instructional design and adult learning theory practice preferredPrevious professional training preferredMaintain technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing publicationsWorking knowledge of construction process (bid process, project management, delegation, financial etc.)Must meet Company minimum driving standards.Minimum Years of Experience6+License RequiredNoMinimum EducationHigh SchoolOverviewIES is a national provider of industrial products and infrastructure services to a variety of end markets, including electrical, mechanical and communications contracting solutions for the commercial, industrial, residential and renewable energy markets.
