Ripening Forecast Analyst

Job Title: Ripening Forecast AnalystReports to: Ripening ManagerFLSA Status: ExemptJob Summary:The Ripening Forecast Analyst supports the Ripening Manager in overseeing the efficient operation of the ripening facility within the warehouse. This role involves collaborating with customers and vendors to ensure optimal fulfillment of orders while maintaining product quality and adhering to company procedures.Essential Responsibilities:Utilize forecasting models based on customer data, historical demand, and business capacity.Supervise the ripening cycle to meet demand and ensure product quality and shelf-life.Conduct inbound inspections to verify product meets criteria before ripening.Work closely with the Ripening Manager to communicate supply and demand changes to customers and the Distribution Center.Ensure proper sanitation within the ripening area.Oversee the preventive maintenance program for ripening rooms and equipment.Track and maintain records of customer feedback, implementing corrective actions as needed.Qualifications & Requirements:Functional knowledge of the banana ripening process, quality, and maturation.Understanding of the banana supply chain.Strong planning and organizational skills.Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel). Experience with WMS (GOLD) system preferred.Additional Requirements:Physical Demands:Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.Ability to sit at a computer for extended periods.Work Environment:Ability to work in a distribution center environment with varying temperatures.Must be able to interact effectively with all levels of management and lead a diverse workforce.ABOUT ACCURATE PERSONNELDo you need your next job fast?
