We are seeking a highly motivated FP&A Director to support our growing organization. Reporting to the Head of Finance, the FP&A Director will play a critical role in shaping our financial strategy and ensuring robust financial planning, analysis, and reporting processes. Financial Planning and ForecastingLead the development of annual budgets, quarterly forecasts, and multi-year financial models aligned with corporate objectives.2. Management ReportingPrepare accurate and insightful financial reports for senior leadership and the Board of Directors, highlighting key business drivers and variances.3. Operational AnalysisPartner with clinical, research, and administrative teams to analyze program-level spending, identify cost efficiencies, and provide actionable insights.4. Scenario ModelingCreate dynamic financial models to evaluate the impact of strategic decisions, such as funding new programs or expanding operations.5. Cash Flow ManagementMonitor and manage cash flow forecasts, ensuring alignment with program milestones and corporate strategy.6. Cross-Functional CollaborationWork closely with the clinical, preclinical and regulatory teams to ensure alignment of budget assumptions.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; MBA or CFA preferred.5+ years of experience in FP&A, preferably in the biotech, pharma, or life sciences sectors.Strong analytical skills with a proven track record in financial modelling and data interpretation.Solid understanding of clinical trial financial planning, technical operations financial planning, and R&D tax creditsDemonstrated ability to manage complex budgets, including program and function-level financials.Experience with financial software and ERP systems; proficiency in Microsoft Excel is essential.Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to convey complex financial data to non-financial stakeholders.Collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional, international team.Self-starter with a proactive approach and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment.Additional SkillsFamiliarity with biotech R&D funding cycles, including clinical and pre-clinical program budgeting.
