Akkodis is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer for a 12-18 month W2 contract job with a client in Lynn, MA. *** No Corp-to-Corp; No C2C; No Referrals from C2C ***Rate Range: $45.00hour to $50.00hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.Design Engineer job responsibilities include:This Design Engineer is on the team that supports delivery and execution of delinquent hardware. This role supports the Hardware to print review - review the parts against blue prints for deficiencies, translate to manufacturing, work with part suppliers on part readiness, perform drawing revisions, CID's, etc. Hardware types - Fan disks, shafts, exhaust frames, bypass ducts, rotating hardware. Desired Qualifications:Degree requirements Preference: Mechanical, Mechanical Eng. Tech, Manufacturing, Industrial, or Aerospace. 2-4 yrs experience and this can include industrial equipment, automotive, pumps, rotating equipment, bearings - all metals (no plastics)Software Knowledge: Cad - NX, Excel PPT, Minitab, and PythonMechanical Drawing interpretation and GD&T proficiencyGeneral manufacturing special processing experience (EDM, Milling, Turning, Welding)If you are interested in this role, then please click APPLY NOW.
