This position is responsible for creating and maintaining project test plans, defining and tracking quality assurance metrics such as defects, defect counts, test results and test status, as well as collecting and analyzing data for software process evaluation and improvements.Responsibilities: Test softwarehardware for validity of results, accuracy, reliability, and conformance to established standards. Create and design test cases to qualify the contents of the project requirements and functional specifications.Manage upgrade and testing procedures for newly released softwarehardware.Work with the Business Application team to log detailed defects as well as recommend softwarehardware enhancements to Business Analysts. Write internal documentation to describe softwarehardware evaluation and testing results. Ensure all QA testing documentation is accurate and complete. Lead or assist in conducting User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and create training materials for end-user training.Keep detailed records of testing procedures and results; communicate these findings to other team members.Prepare and deliver reports, recommendations, or alternatives that address existing and potential areas of improvement.Assist with the development of, and adhere to, quality assurance measures and testing standards for new applications, products, andor enhancements to existing applications and products throughout the development lifecycle.Be accountable to project teams for the scope, time, and quality of the testing effort. Identify potential quality issues per defined processes and escalate to the appropriate individuals.Actively participate in Agile ceremonies, including Sprint Planning, Sprint Retrospectives, and Daily Stand-ups to align testing efforts with development goals.Design, develop, and maintain automated tests to support Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CICD) pipelines, ensuring fast and reliable feedback loops.Conduct performance and load testing to assess system scalability, reliability, and responsiveness under various conditions.Utilize source code management tools such as Git or SVN to maintain and version test automation scripts effectively.Collaborate with DevOps teams to manage and optimize test environments and deployment pipelines, ensuring seamless integration and testing processes.Continuously assess and implement new testing tools, frameworks, and methodologies to enhance testing efficiency, quality, and best practices across the team.Your qualifications should include:Bachelor's degree in an IT or technical discipline or the equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience. 2+ years of experience in software testing and quality assurance.Experience with iterative and incremental software delivery.Experience in applying agile values and principles.Team player willing to grow capabilities in support of a cross-functional delivery team.Experience in automated testing using xUnit frameworks, Selenium, QFTest or mabl.High emotional intelligence and the ability to interact effectively with individuals at all levels within the organization. Exceptional attention to detail.Strong problem-solving skills.Ability to solve complex issues using analytical skills.Strong knowledge of Windows-based operating systems.Ability to complete work assignments independently with minimal supervision. Must be able to shift priorities based on business needs.
